Beijo Baby

Crochet Monokini, c/o Beijobaby.com

Crochet Monokini, c/o www.beijobaby.com; Shorts, Cotton On; Necklace, Floppy Hat, Skull Bracelet, Arm Cuffs, Purse, Windsorstore.com; Watch, Diesel; Maxi skirt and Aviators, Forever 21; Shoes, NY Boutique.

I am so excited to share with you this beautiful monokini swimsuit that was custom made for me by Keila of Beijo Baby!!! Be sure to check out her website, www.beijobaby.com; she is a talented Brazilian designer who hand knits custom, one of a kind pieces for any occasion with the perfect fit for your body shape!! She can make anything from dresses and tops to bikinis and children's clothing and you can pick from her assortment of color strings made from top quality bamboo, cotton, or crystal acrylic threads.

I've been totally loving all of the crochet monokinis this season but have had problems finding one that fits me right so I was so thrilled to find out she custom makes them! Ladies, it's totally worth the money!!! I know the first thing a lot of people think when they see a crochet monokini is, "omg tan lines" but I think it's more of a statement piece that you wear to that special pool party, barbecue, summer festival/concert or even shopping, whether you're at the beach or the Pasadena flea market and the best part is it's very fashionable without showing as much skin as you would with a bikini!!! ;)

So I put together a couple of different looks for you for inspiration, hope you like them!!

Thank you again Keila, I absolutely love my monokini!!!!! <3<3<3

"Skull Crush"

Dress and Ivory Cross Necklace, Brandy Melville; Skull Clutch, Lace Bralette, Rings and Bracelets, Windsorstore.com; Hat and Wood Cross Necklace, Forever 21;

Scarf, LF Stores; Boots, Jeffrey Campbell;  Sunglasses, House of Harlow.

Lately, I've been crushing on skulls and I just can't seem to get enough, especially in accessories!!! I swear my jewelry box is starting to look very gothic but I absolutely love it! It can instantly toughen up any outfit and you know me, I love adding those masculine touches just to mix things up.  If you are a little freaked out by the jewelry, I suggest maybe trying a more feminine piece, like a chiffon skull-print scarf that you can tie in your hair or just throw on with a cute blazer. The classic Alexander McQueen one has been out there for a while now and I still think it is a must have for any fashionista's closet.

Here is today's outfit, hope you like it!!

Walk This Way

Shoes, Rings and Cross Bracelet, Windsorstore;  Sunglasses, Prada; Shorts, Necklace and Hat, Forever21; Earrings, Vintage; Top, Tobi.com; Purse, Rebecca Minkoff.

So I recently bought these heel-less wedges from windsorstore.com and I've been waiting for the perfect outfit to wear with them. I must say they get a looooot of attention and they're only a fraction of what you would pay for the Jeffrey Campbell ones. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love all the JC versions but as quick as trends end these days I just didn't want to make the investment.

Here is today's outfit, hope you like it!!
